New in 2.0AI assistant & document import

Track your money in seconds — on the web, in Telegram, or with your AI.

FundsFlow is a personal finance tracker with tags, budgets, and recurring payments. Send-350 groceries to the bot, snap a receipt, or just ask the assistant where your money went.

Sign in with email, Google, GitHub, or a one-time code from @funds_flow_bot.

One account, three ways in

Use it wherever you are

Every entry point is backed by the same account, so a receipt sent from your phone shows up in your charts right away.

Web app

Analytics, a calendar with a year view, budgets, tag donuts, money flow with previous-period compare, balance trend, and a searchable list — plus the ✨ Assistant panel.

Telegram bot

Log an expense in two seconds with a quick add, send receipt photos or a voice note, get budget alerts and a weekly digest. The Mini App opens the full web app inside Telegram.

Your AI, via MCP

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, or Grok to the FundsFlow MCP server and manage your data from the assistant you already use.

Features

Built for everyday tracking

Hierarchical tags with emojis, attachments on every transaction, and the formats and timezone you prefer.

  • Receipt photos & albums

Send a photo without an amount and AI vision drafts the total, date, note, and tags for you to confirm. Albums become one transaction or several.

  • Voice messages

Say “minus three hundred fifty groceries” in your own language. The transcript is handled just like a typed message.

  • AI assistant

Ask questions, draw charts, and stage changes in plain language — in the web app and in Telegram. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

  • Budgets

Weekly, monthly, or yearly limits for one or more tags, with pause/resume, period history, and Telegram alerts at 80% and 100%.

  • Recurring payments

Rent, salary, and subscriptions are added automatically — daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly — and show up in the calendar forecast.

  • Analytics & charts

Analytics, Calendar, Budgets, Tags, Flow, Trend, and List tabs, with a week / month / year period bar and previous-period comparison.

  • PDF reports

Pick the tabs you need and print the report, or have it rendered as a PDF and sent to your Telegram chat.

  • Telegram Mini App

The full web app inside Telegram, signed in automatically from your linked chat, with native back and main buttons.

AI assistant

Ask “how much did I spend this month?”

The same finance assistant lives in the web app's ✨ Assistant panel and in the Telegram bot. It uses real numbers from your account and never makes up amounts.

  • Streams answers

Watch the reply being written, with steps like “Reading tags” or “Building chart” while it looks things up.

  • Draws charts

Spending by tag, income vs expenses, and balance trend — in the web app with the same chart components as the tabs, in Telegram as PNG images.

  • Asks before it changes anything

Adding, editing, or deleting a transaction, creating a budget or tags: every change is a card with Confirm and Cancel.

  • Always one keystroke away

Press / or Ctrl+K (⌘K) in the web app to open the panel. Write in any language.

AI features share a daily limit of AI assists (5 per day by default), reset at midnight in your timezone. Quick add, the + button, and all tabs keep working without AI. More about the assistant

MCP server

Bring your own AI

FundsFlow has a remote Model Context Protocol server. Connect the assistant you already use and ask “how much did I spend on groceries last month?” or “create a monthly budget of 300 for coffee”.

Privacy & source

Your data stays yours

The code is public on GitHub, so you can see exactly how FundsFlow works.

  • No bank connection

You add transactions yourself. FundsFlow never asks for bank credentials.

  • Private per account

Your transactions, tags, budgets, and attachments are visible only to your account.

  • AI only when you use it

Quick add, commands, and the web app tabs send nothing to an AI provider. The assistant, receipt photos, voice, and document import are processed by xAI (Grok API), and the server admin can turn AI off.

  • Export anytime

Download all your data as JSON from Settings → Data, or with export_account over MCP.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does FundsFlow connect to my bank?

No. You add transactions yourself — in the web app, through the Telegram bot (text, receipt photos, voice), with recurring rules, the built-in AI assistant, or your own AI client over MCP.

Which currency does it use?

FundsFlow tracks plain amounts and doesn’t convert currencies. Choose how numbers look in Settings → Formatting.

How do I sign in?

With email and password, Google, GitHub, or a one-time code: send /website to the Telegram bot. Sending /start to the bot creates an account tied to that chat.

Can I ask an AI about my finances in the web app?

Yes. Click ✨ Assistant in the header (or press /). It answers questions, draws charts, and proposes changes that you confirm.

Is there a limit on AI features?

Receipt reading, voice messages, and assistant messages share a daily limit of AI assists (5 by default), reset at midnight in your timezone. Quick add, receipts with the amount in the caption, commands, and all web tabs work without AI.

Why does MCP OAuth ask for an email and password?

OAuth sign-in for AI clients uses your FundsFlow email and password. If you signed up with Telegram, Google, or GitHub, set them in Settings → Accounts → Login credentials, or use a personal token.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Settings → Data → Download JSON downloads your tags, transactions (with attachment metadata), budgets, and recurring rules. AI clients can do the same with export_account.

How do I delete my account or send feedback?

There’s no self-service account deletion yet — contact @Loafer19 on Telegram. The same contact works for feedback and bug reports.
